Kelowna-based, established, non-profit society or a registered charity with a sport, event, social service or cultural mandate.
Maximum Amount: Funding can be used to cover 100% of the consulting or tuition/registration costs, to a maximum of $5,000.

Telus Friendly Future Foundation
Due to the global pandemic, funding will be focused on critically important community-based health programs, including mental health and well-being programs, supporting at-risk populations.

- Organizations must have charitable status and be registered by the Canada Revenue Agency
- Organizations who have a local focus and operate in a TELUS Community Board region
- Single-year programs should focus on public health and technology

Canada United Small Business Relief Fund

Okanagan Water Basin Annual Grant Program
The Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) is now accepting applications to its Water Conservation and Quality Improvement (WCQI) grant program. Grants support projects that enhance water quality and conserve water quantity in the Okanagan.

Venture Internship Program
Internships for post-secondary students across Canada. Dynamic, aspirational young people find their way to the Venture for Canada community. We select the ones with the character traits Canadian startups and SMEs say they need and we train them to stick a landing.

55+ Hiring Incentive
Program offers eligible employers in BC a negotiated Wage Subsidy as an incentive to hire eligible job seekers aged 55+.
Who Should Apply
- Worker 55+ must be aged 55 or older and a new hire
- Business must be in operation for at least one year
- Business must be in good standing with WorkSafeBC
- Must employ worker 55+ for a minimum of 3 months with preference given to long-term positions over 6 months
- Employers will NOT qualify if employee is hired prior to signing Experience Matters Funding Agreement between Employer and Bowman Employment Services Inc.

Get Youth Working Program
Program offers eligible employers in BC a negotiated Wage Subsidy as an incentive to hire eligible youth age 17 to 29.
Who Should Apply
- BC organizations (all incorporation models) in operation for at least one year
- In good standing with WorkSafeBC
- Must employ an eligible youth for a minimum of 3 months (average 30 hours per week) with preference given to long-term positions over 6 months
- Employers will NOT qualify if employee is hired prior to signing Get Youth Working Funding Agreement
