Have you ever thought of social entrepreneurship as only for “business people”?

Do you have an idea to generate money for your non-profit but don’t want it to be another one-off fundraiser and not sure where to start?

Join author Madeleine Shaw for an interactive Lunch & Learn when she’ll explore the ideas in her book “The Greater Good: Social Entrepreneurship for Everyday People who Want to Change the World”. Hear from the team at HOPE about how their social enterprise, Jewels of Hope, is helping support more than just a new revenue stream.

Hosted by the City of Kelowna, KCR and Purppl, this is a great opportunity to get out of the office for a light lunch, a meet and greet with Madeleine, and networking with local non-profit leaders and program teams who are interested in social enterprise OR are already doing it!

Find inspiration, motivation, supports and maybe even collaborators.  Leave with some new ideas to help drive sustainable revenue to your non profit mission. This is a great event to bring your Board to, so they can be inspired as well.

We look forward to gathering in person, visiting with old friends and changing the world together….starting with the Okanagan.
