Sustainable Recovery Grant
In response to COVID-19, a funding stream is available to support sustainability and resilience for the charitable sector. Successful applicants will receive one-time grant funding for 6-12 months of customized coaching on Purppl’s Resilience & Recovery Program.

United Way SIBC Community Grants
Funds projects that enable community organizations working in our priority areas to improve their infrastructure and operations, increase their longer-term sustainability, and serve the community better. Circuit Breaker Business Relief Grant
Grants of $2,000 to $20,000 are available to hospitality, fitness and accommodation businesses impacted by the March 31, 2021 Public Health Officer orders on gatherings and events and liquor and food serving premises, and the April 23, 2021 EPA order on travel.
Who Should Apply
All hospitality, fitness or accommodation businesses that partially or fully closed to comply with the March 31, 2021 PHO orders and April 23, 2021 EPA order are eligible. A business must have been in operation and registered as of February 1, 2021.

Telus Friendly Future Foundation
Due to the global pandemic, funding will be focused on critically important community-based health programs, including mental health and well-being programs, supporting at-risk populations.
Who Should Apply
- Organizations must have charitable status and be registered by the Canada Revenue Agency
- Organizations who have a local focus and operate in a TELUS Community Board region
- Single-year programs should focus on public health and technology

Small and Medium Sized Business Recovery Grant – New program criteria
As of March 4, 2021:
- The program has been extended to August 31, 2021 or until funds are fully expended, whichever comes first
- Businesses only need to show a 30% revenue loss from March 2020 to now when compared to the same one-month period in 2019
Impact Investment Fund

Vancity Unity Women Entrepreneurs Program

Launch Online Grant Program
The Launch Online Grant program provides funding to B.C.-based business to create an online shop and/or improve their e-commerce experience to attract new local customers and expand to new markets.

Kelowna Organization Development Grants
This program aims to provide assistance to non-profit sport, event, social service and cultural organizations for the purpose of undertaking activities or initiatives which develop the organization’s capacity and sustainability.
Who Should Apply
Kelowna-based, established, non-profit society or a registered charity with a sport, event, social service or cultural mandate.
Maximum Amount: Funding can be used to cover 100% of the consulting or tuition/registration costs, to a maximum of $5,000.

Community Gaming Grants
Community Gaming Grants funding enhances community life through supporting programs that: provide opportunities for enrichment through participation in sport and the arts, enhance and protect our local environment, improve quality of life for community members; and, enhance and support the safety of our communities.

Not-for-profit organizations providing programs or services of direct benefit to the broader community.

Venture Internship Program
Internships for post-secondary students across Canada. Dynamic, aspirational young people find their way to the Venture for Canada community. We select the ones with the character traits Canadian startups and SMEs say they need and we train them to stick a landing.
- 75% subsidy
- Each funding round can cover up to 20 weeks of employment
- Employers can participate in multiple semesters, and even hire the same eligible student for up to two consecutive semesters
